MyCar Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your MyCar account and associated data using either of the methods below.
How to request deletion
- In the app: Open MyCar > Settings > Delete Account & All Data.
- By email: Email privacy@evil-monkey.co.uk with the subject MyCar Account Deletion Request.
Data deleted
The deletion request covers:
- Account profile (name, email, hashed password)
- Saved vehicles
- Document Vault receipts/PDFs
- Reminder alerts
Data retained
Financial transaction receipts (Stripe PaymentIntent IDs) are retained for 6 years as mandated by UK tax law (HMRC) for audit compliance.
Processing time
Requests are processed within 14 business days.
